On July 29, 2026, a delegation of 7 faculty and students from the Panjin Campus of Dalian University of Technology, led by Mr. Ni Donghe – Supervisor of External Exchange and Cooperation and Employment Specialist of the Campus Student Affairs Department – visited Zhejiang TUNA Environmental Science&Technology Co., Ltd., a strategic university-enterprise cooperation partner, for an in-depth exchange visit. TUNA kicked off the event with a "video presentation + panoramic PPT," vividly showcasing the company's full-industry-chain layout and innovative achievements in flue gas treatment, new energy materials, and other fields, offering the visiting a direct glimpse into the cutting-edge developments of the environmental protection industry.
At the symposium, Ms. Yang Chunli, Assistant to the Group President and HR Director, delivered a welcome speech. She introduced TUNA's transformation from equipment manufacturing to a comprehensive "technology + service" solution provider against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" strategy, emphasizing that "talent is the primary driving force of the enterprise" and expressing expectations for long-term cooperation with universities in internship practices and joint research projects. She also offered advice and aspirations to the visiting students. Mr. Ni Donghe then delivered a speech, thanking the company for providing students with an immersive career experience and pointing out that "the classroom in action" is the key bridge connecting textbook theory with industrial practice. He encouraged students to think through observation, clarify their aspirations through exchange, proactively explore potential resources, and enhance their ability to integrate into society.
During the alumni sharing session, Mr. Bai Longcheng, a 2025 recruit, shared his one-year practical experience, describing his transformation from campus to workplace. He motivated the younger students with insights such as "growth is driven by project challenges" and "solid foundational skills are essential." A 2026 new recruit shared his career choice journey, explaining how he was drawn to TUNA's dual appeal of "deep technical expertise and people-oriented culture." The practice group students then actively participated in a Q&A session, raising questions on technology pathways, professional competencies, and industry prospects, to which the company representatives provided detailed responses, fostering a lively and interactive atmosphere.
Following the symposium, Mr. Ni Donghe specifically visited and met with three Dalian University of Technology students currently interning at TUNA. He inquired in detail about their role adaptation, project participation progress, and living support arrangements, encouraging them to cherish the hands-on opportunity, integrate classroom knowledge into specific process optimization, and hone their skills through solving real-world problems.
This visit not only served as "on-site support" for the interns but also "energized" the university-enterprise partnership, laying the foundation for continued bilateral cooperation to nurture outstanding engineering talent capable of meeting the demands of new quality productive forces. TUNA looks forward to welcoming more exceptional students to join its mission of safeguarding blue skies and clean waters.
