This June marks the 25th National Work Safety Month. In order to thoroughly implement the major decisions and arrangements on work safety made by the state and superior authorities, further strengthen safety awareness among all employees, and enhance emergency response capabilities, Feile Factory organized a series of diversified and content-rich safety training activities from June 1 to June 30, centering on the theme of "Everyone Promotes Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond – Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hazards." These initiatives have ignited a company-wide wave of enthusiasm for "learning about safety, understanding safety, and adhering to safety practices."
01 Leadership Taking the Lead to Consolidate Safety Accountability
The Work Safety Month campaign was officially launched, with Feile Factory actively responding to the Group's call for work safety initiatives by convening a kick-off ceremony and mobilization meeting. At the meeting, Mr. Tiejun Xu , General Manager of Feile Factory, emphasized, "Safety is the lifeline of enterprise development and an insurmountable red line." He urged all employees to resolutely overcome complacency and the temptation to take chances, and to internalize safety principles in their minds and externalize them in their actions. During the meeting, all employees stepped up to the table one by one and solemnly affixed their signatures. The rustling sound of pen tips gliding across the red cloth seemed to echo a solemn pledge to safety.
02 Theory Meets Practice: Training That Truly Resonates
This year's Safety Month training departed from the traditional "cramming" approach to instruction, adopting a blended model that integrates "online + offline" and "theory + hands-on practice" modalities.
1. Thematic Knowledge Seminars: Mr. Qi Hu, a specialist from a fire safety training institution, was specially invited to deliver an interpretation of the newly revised Work Safety Law and to conduct case studies on typical workplace accidents. Through a detailed review of real-life incidents, employees gained a profound understanding of the severe consequences entailed by non-compliant operations.
2. Hands-On Firefighting Drills: In an open area of the industrial park, the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Department organized fire emergency response drills. Professional instructors demonstrated the correct fire extinguisher usage procedure—"Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep"—and guided employees in taking turns to perform live firefighting exercises, offering them a "zero-distance" experience of actual fire suppression.
3. First-Aid Skills Training: Tailored to the characteristics of both office and production environments, specialized training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich Maneuver were conducted, thereby enhancing employees' capabilities for self-rescue and mutual assistance in emergency situations.
03 Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation: Fortifying the Safety Shield
During the training period, the company simultaneously rolled out the "Snap and Report Safety Hazards" and "I Am a Safety Whistleblower" initiatives. Frontline employees were encouraged to proactively identify safety risks in their immediate surroundings. A total of over 10 rectification suggestions were submitted across various categories, with a closure rate of 100%. This participative management approach has effectively eliminated blind spots and gaps in safety oversight.
Although the Safety Month campaign has drawn to a close, safety management is a never-ending endeavor. Taking this "Work Safety Month" as a springboard, Feile Factory will continue to strengthen routine safety education, steadily improve its safety management systems, and effectively translate the knowledge gained into tangible outcomes that drive safe development, thereby providing a solid safety foundation to support the company's high-quality growth.
